How to use

  • Before you begin the treatment please discontinue all hair removal methods in the treatment area EXCEPT for shaving - including waxing, hair removal creams or chemicals, tweezing and electrolysis. Make sure you shave the area the day before the treatment. Always remember to do a patch test 24 hours before starting treatment.
  • We recommend you treat the area once a week for 12 weeks to catch all the unwanted hair.
  • Switch to maintenance treatments and top-up every 4-8 weeks to remain hair-free.

IPL isn’t effective on white or grey hair due to lower amounts of melanin, and red hair contains a different type of melanin which isn’t responsive to IPL.

I started using this on 3-30-25. I wanted thoroughly to read the instructions first. So I could use the device correctly. As as of today, I really have not notice any change yet. I have been using it on my face and the back of my neck only at this point in time. My facial hair is still
as heavy and stiff. I have been plucking my whiskers/hair for decades and was told that, that will make the process longer. I am just being patient and waiting. When I was doing my research on home use IPL devices for hair removal, I was trying to decide between Braun and Smoothskin Pure fit. ImIt has been 7 weeks since and I did not regret buying SS Purefit IPL. First off, ease of use. Just point and click. Secondly, it was easy to hold and I could easily navigate it while using it on my legs, arms and pit. I’ve used it every 5 days since I bought it. I don’t have hair growing anymore. I used to have growth every 3 days because I have thick coarse hair on my legs and thighs. I’m a brown asian btw. Overall, I love this product and would definitely recommend, best purchase ever!

I love it! It’s doing great on my legs. I’ve only been using it for about 4 weeks and I barely have to shave. I’ve been using it on my face too but some of my “granny hairs” have been a little stubborn. I just started on my under arms. It does pop you pretty good on dry skin but it’s tolerable.

Overall, I’m pleased with my initial results and the unit. I have coarse hair, and a lot on my legs, and I’m already noticing less growth/slower growth there. My underarms’ results are even better. Some changes I would suggest regarding the unit is making the shorter power cord (there are 2 cords-I’m referring to the one that plugs into a power source.) It should be a hair (pun intended) longer for better maneuverability, or at the very least be on a swivel. Also, the head of the unit gets very hot shortly after starting a treatment, to the point where I take a break between treatment areas.
